WHAT THEY DON’T TELL YOU…..

in recent actions of importance to live in today’s society: i’ve learned lessons i feel i should share.

IN REGARDS TO FILING TAXES:

lesson #1
may be quite obvious to most, BUT – FILE YOUR TAXES EVERY YEAR.
i waited so long and all these frustrations i am going through and LOTS of money i’m spending could have certainly been avoided had i done everything when i was supposed to.

lesson #2
here’s something interesting i learned:
if the government owes YOU money, it is only valid for 3 years. after 3 years it gets wiped out of the system and you cannot have it.
if you owe the GOVERNMENT money, it is forever. it never wipes away. after years all it does is collect interest and you end up owing lots more.
crazy how that works.

IN REGARDS TO CAR INSURANCE IN NJ:

important lesson i had never heard about-

if you are getting a new policy with a new agent or company, it is very important that you have had insurance with another company for at least 30 days prior. for instance, if you had a previous policy with another company or a different state and that policy ends, you MUST get your new insurance within 30 days.
if you don’t and you wait, say.. 34 days –
YOUR RATE WILL TRIPLE AND YOU’LL HAVE TO PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT UP FRONT!!
i swear, even if you are 6 days past (as i was) the rate will triple on the new policy.
incredible.

***Why doesn’t anyone tell you this stuff? I suppose I’m the type that learns the hard way. (my brother always tells me that) I seriously thought you can go get insurance anytime you want. I wasn’t driving the car so I felt I was abiding by the law. yea, NO.

GOOD NEWS: I MANAGED TO BEAT THE SYSTEM AND BUY A 6-MONTH POLICY AT A DECENT RATE AND AM CURRENTLY COVERED! SOON I WILL HAVE JERSEY PLATES AND WE’LL BE BACK ON THE ROAD! I’M ALSO WORKING ON A FAIR PAYMENT PLAN TO PAY OFF THE TAXES SO THAT HOPEFULLY IN ABOUT 20 YEARS, THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE OFF MY BACK AND I MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET A CREDIT CARD OR A LOAN OF SOME KIND.

fAMily dicHOtOMies

there are so many aspects to our families, it seems:

for instance, some families act shady, send mixed vibes, then get very emotional when they learn you’re pregnant and can’t stop calling you. they’ve been quite involved in your life thus far so you answer the call.

some families could care less what you do. they never judge you. they’re simpler and struggle in the real world so they’re happy to see smiling eyes in front of them. they love you so unconditionally, the site of you is sheer joy. no matter which way you chose to life your life or how often you call them.

others simply get angry. literally angry when you don’t live your life the way they want you to. if you don’t make the choices they’d make, they’re suddenly not as nice to you. these are the kind of people that judge your life without having the slightest idea about your world (or the real world for that matter) with comments and all.

there are families we chose and put together ourselves when blood is not as close. these are folks you’ve grown to love and who love you just as much. who don’t have to be around but are more supportive most times than anyone else. these folks wouldn’t dream of judging you but will be most truthful with you. these are the folks you deep down wish could all live in a house with you, anywhere in the world.

but then there’s that immediate family. the handful of special special people who were there every single day and continue to see you through your life each step of the way. those who you truly feel you can’t live your life without. for some reason, these four people are the farthest away from me right now.

i truly believe in good inside of all of us. thus, i believe although all these dichotomies between family exists, what remains true is that they do love you deep down. everyone just has their way.

so what’s one who delves so deeply in matters of vibration to do?

i stay true to myself. g-d knows everything.
i remember that the only person who can make you feel bad is yourself.
that would be me.
and now is an incredibly positive time in my life; and negative just can’t come in.

so,

be angry
be joyful
be judgeful
be moved
be regretful
be warm

but i’m going to be me.
me, while all that goes on with you.
